Pop-up gallery upstairs at Retro, London’s West End July 2016 – July 2019

Whilst working at Retro in 2016, Kat teamed up with Allie Clarke to re-establish a pop-up gallery space in the upstairs bar. The pair held parties to raise money to install a gallery hanging system, lights and curtains, transform the space and curate exhibitions.
The pop-up held artist-led group and solo shows, as well as an annual halloween group show, Creep Show, until 2019.
Famous for it’s celebration of great music including 70s and 80s New Romantic, goth, disco and punk, the gallery added visual arts to Retro’s eclectic celebration of the eccentric and alternative.
